Mick started to learn adaptive skiing in November 2008 as part of his rehabilitation programme at Headley Court, following an incident while on military duty in Iraq in November 2004.
Jade first tried skiing during a family holiday when she was eight years old. She skied recreationally for 10 years before joining the BDST Development Squad in 2009.

Angie first started playing Wheelchair Curling in 2003 and went on to make her international debut at the 2004 World Championships in Sursee, Switzerland.
