on 19-10-2013 13:00

This past week Team Great Britain was in action against 10 other teams at the 6th Kinross International. Five of those teams will be representing their countries at the Paralympic Games this coming March.

After section play it was decided by one point that GBR would finish in first place while Sweden secured second place in the Black Section. In the Red Section Norway finished top of the table with Italy finishing in second position.

The gold medal game was very tight and required an extra end to decide. After a good draw around a corner guard by GBR and a failed take out by NOR, GBR won gold medals for the second time this season.

Congratulations to Aileen Neilson, Gregor Ewan, Robert McPherson and Tom Killin as they continue preparations with the Canadian Open this coming week. In the bronze medal match SWE controlled the entire game against ITA to secure their bronze medals

Finals:

GBR - Gold
NOR - Silver
SWE - Bronze
